Industrial 3D laser scanning replaces those assumptions with one measured record. Every project starts with a 3D laser scanning survey, registered to 2–6 mm and measured against a total-station control network. Everything below is built from that one dataset.
Capture without stopping the line
We scan occupied and live sites, scheduled around operations, with nights and weekends on request. Capture ranges from about 20,000 sq ft a day in dense interiors like apartments, up to 200,000 sq ft a day in open spaces such as workshops or outdoor sites.
Retrofit planning and clash-free routing
The point cloud shows what is really installed. New equipment, piping and structure are routed against it, so clashes are found on screen instead of on site.
CAD for equipment and assemblies

Dimensional checks
We compare the point cloud with the design model and report where installed assemblies deviate, and by how much. The numbers come from the same record as your CAD, so they agree.

A terrestrial laser scanner measures every visible surface of a plant, line or piece of equipment. The scans are registered, meaning aligned, into one point cloud. Retrofit routing, CAD and dimensional checks are built from it.
What do you deliver for a retrofit?
Usually a registered point cloud and CAD of the equipment and assemblies involved, with a deviation report where installed work has to be checked against the design. Tell us what the retrofit needs and we scope it in your quote.

How accurate is a registered point cloud?
