Service
Digital twin services: measurable replicas of facilities
Our digital twin services turn a facility into a measurable, web-hosted 3D replica. Owners and teams open it from a link, then walk, measure and review the space from anywhere.
What a digital twin is
A digital twin is a measurable 3D replica of a real facility, hosted on the web. You send your team a link, and they open it in a browser. They can walk through the space, measure it and review it from anywhere.
A 3D digital twin is a record you can measure, not just look at. We build it from the same registered scan data as our drawings and models, so one capture serves review, planning and operations, with nothing re-measured.
When you need a digital twin
Order digital twin services when many people need to see and measure the same space, and not all of them can be on site. Typical reasons:
- Facility teams that need to check a room, a dimension or a condition without going back on site.
- Owners and portfolio managers who need a current spatial record of every building.
- Planning work, where a renovation, move or retrofit starts from a space the team can see and measure first.
- Design and consulting teams reviewing the same space from different offices.
- Operations teams that need one shared reference for the facility.

How a digital twin project works
Quote and scope
Send the address and what your team needs to do with the twin. Within one business day we reply with the method, the schedule and a fixed price.
Capture on site
We scan the facility from many positions, tied to a total-station control network. Capture ranges from about 20,000 sq ft a day in dense interiors like apartments, up to 200,000 sq ft a day in open spaces such as workshops or outdoor sites. We work around operations on occupied and live sites, with nights and weekends on request. See our 3D laser scanning survey.
Registration and checks
The scans are aligned, cleaned and checked against control. This adds about 2–3 days after the field day.
Building the twin
We turn the registered scan into your web-hosted twin. Build time depends on the scope and is stated in your quote.
Handover
You receive a link to the twin and the point cloud. Need a Revit model or drawings from the same scan? See Scan to BIM services and as-built survey and drawing services.
Accuracy and specs
A twin is only as accurate as the data behind it. Ours is built from scans registered to 2–6 mm, measured against a total-station control network and reported per project.
- Format: web-hosted, measurable, shared by link
- Scan accuracy: registered to 2–6 mm, reported per project
- Scanner: Leica RTC360
- Control: total-station control network
- Field day: about 20,000 sq ft a day in dense interiors, up to 200,000 sq ft a day in open spaces
- Processing: about 2–3 days after the field day
- Point cloud formats: E57, RCP, RCS, LAS
- Confidentiality: NDA on request; data retained and shared on your terms
- Every delivery includes: a registration report
Who it’s for
Facility managers, owners, developers and their consultants order a digital twin when the next decision depends on seeing and measuring a space that not everyone can visit. Common uses by industry:
- Building scanning for real estate: a measurable record of every building in a portfolio, for facility teams and owners.
- Industrial 3D laser scanning: plant and equipment captured once, so retrofit planning and reviews start from a shared record.

Ask a questionWhat is a digital twin?
A digital twin is a measurable 3D replica of a facility. Ours is web-hosted, so owners and teams open it from a link and walk, measure and review the space from anywhere.
Do I need a digital twin or a Scan to BIM model?
A Scan to BIM model is a Revit model for design and coordination teams. A digital twin is a web-hosted replica your team opens in a browser to walk and measure. Both are built from the same scan, so nothing is re-measured. See Scan to BIM services.
How accurate is a digital twin?
A twin is built from scans registered to 2–6 mm, measured against a total-station control network and reported per project. Every delivery ships with a registration report, so accuracy is measured, not assumed.
How long does a scan take?
Capture ranges from about 20,000 sq ft a day in dense interiors like apartments, up to 200,000 sq ft a day in open spaces such as workshops or outdoor sites. Aligning, cleaning and checking the scans adds about 2–3 days. Your quote states the schedule for your site.
Do you scan occupied or live sites?
Yes. We scan occupied and live sites, scheduled around operations, with nights and weekends on request. We sign an NDA on request, and your data is retained and shared on your terms.
How much do digital twin services cost?
Every project is fixed-price and set on scope: the size of the facility, access and what you need delivered. Send the address and what you need, and we reply within one business day with a method, a schedule and a fixed price.
